the james bond flight
Schilthorn - Stechelberg
Meeting at Stechelberg, we take 4 gondolas, via Mürren and Birg to the top of the Schilthorn mountain. The Schilthorn and its 360° revolving restaurant are famous for the locational filming of the 1969 James Bond (George Lazenby) movie "Her Majesty's Secret Service". After absorbing the the breathtaking panoramic views we hike to the take off site through difficult alpine terrain.
As you are right in the heart of the Swiss Alps, the views from here are spectacular. With a bit of luck we might even fly with a golden eagle. This take off site is the most challenging out of all our flights, for our passengers and pilots. This flight is not for the faint hearted or those with a fear of heights.
Important: Due to the unpredictable nature of wind and weather conditions on this mountain, this flight is not available all year round. Contact us for more details of flight availability. Please bring hiking boots, or tell us your shoe size while booking so we can provide you with a pair. This flight requires a high level of fitness with no pre-existing medical conditions.
